Set the Title and description for the new product.
If you are pasting the description from Word, or another word processor you may notice some strange formatting of the text. If you see this then select the text in the description, select the 3 dots in the text toolbar, and select “Clear formatting” to remove the hidden styling being applied.
Click the clock next to Online Store to set the schedule for VIP release.
StreetX
Pick the template based on the category. The only real difference between these templates is the sizing charts they display. The only ones you should need to use are:
There are 2 tags we need to add that are critical. 1: is the category tag (same as above list). This tag is how the product will be listed in the correct category. The other is the VIP tag for early release. If we dont apply the VIP tag the product will not be hidden for early release.
Within each of these Categories we can further organise the products through the use of tags. I’ve removed all existing tags and have set them up with a new structure so that the customer can use them to filter the products within the above collections.
The tags to use for each Category / Product type are:
The home collection, and each category under ‘SHOP’ is determined by products with a vendor of ‘StreetX’. The Product type filters the different product types (tees, shorts etc.)
You can set this in the product under ‘Variants > More Options > Reorder Variants’ and dragging the dots next to the variant name. List the Variants in the following order:
The theme has a number of default colour swatches that will display as an image. If you find a colour variant you're adding is blank you can create a custom swatch. A guide on how to do this can be found here: Creating custom colour swatches
Make sure these are capitalised. The filtering app recognised upper and lower case as different sizes so Xs, xs and XS will display separately. Should all be listed as:
XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL
